Nation branding vs. nation building revisited: Ukrainian information management in the face of the Russian invasion

چکیده

Abstract This article re-evaluates some of the previous assumptions made related to communication practices and information management in Ukraine since before Euromaidan revolution 2013. We highlight two points where knowledge about nation branding building must be rethought light latest developments Firstly, is no longer exclusively an activity that directed audience foreign investors tourists, but also toward international field politics. Simultaneously, it clearly a domestic audience—the citizens Ukraine. Secondly, this means there may any sharp distinction between branding—at least not times ongoing armed conflict.
